Why, and what to do
A feed post has no title, slug, or tag field, so front-matter metadata has nowhere to go, and left in place it would publish as literal text.
Do this: Decide whether the title belongs in the opening line, and carry any other field you still need into the text yourself.
Limits of this rule
- It describes the surface and date in the table above, not every version, theme, or plugin.
- Reading it in isolation hides the other rules that touch the same draft.
- A rule is only as current as the test date beside it.
